Optimus Prime returns to rally a team for a mission to Charr, aiming to recover the ship alloy from Galvatron. While Galvatron directs them to its hiding place, they encounter numerous threats, including infected Transformers that they must battle. Only Optimus and SkyLynx manage to escape the infection, narrowly securing the alloy. This alloy is crucial for protecting Optimus from the Hate Plague as he prepares to face Rodimus, with the Matrix being instrumental to finding a cure.
