Alex Polizzi arrives at Eden Lodge, a well-known bed and breakfast in Falmouth, Cornwall, to experience the customer perspective firsthand. As she settles in, she quickly finds fault with the decor chosen by owners Lynn and Ziggy, as well as the state of the indoor swimming pool. Convinced that the establishment is in dire need of a reality check, she realizes that significant changes are necessary for them to run a successful business.
