In an unusual village that venerates a colossal squid as its deity, Jinguuji embarks on a quest to rescue Tachibana, who has been taken to serve as a sacrificial offering. Along the way, he encounters Rue, the elven Premier, who was also in line for sacrifice. Teaming up with Rue, Jinguuji devises a daring strategy to confront the giant squid and put an end to its demands for lovely maidens, hoping to save both Tachibana and the villagers from their grim fate.
