While pursuing a suspect, Gwen comes across a strange device that enables the user to view past events. This machine is deemed hazardous, and Torchwood personnel are forbidden from using it. However, Owen has his own agenda and witnesses a brutal murder from over four decades ago. Armed with the insights he gained, Owen embarks on a mission to find the murderer, who is still alive.
