Episode Overview
Title: Episode 10 Plot: On the sweltering hottest day of the year, the beach is packed with sun-seekers. However, the heat takes its toll, and lifeguards find themselves overwhelmed with emergencies. Among the injured is an Italian backpacker who has dislocated his elbow. Yatesy attempts to communicate in Spanish, which has similarities to Italian, but Alex remains difficult to handle. The situation escalates when lifeguards are summoned to a young boy in the changing rooms, who has collapsed from a drug overdose at just 14, having consumed speed and marijuana. As the day progresses, a Scottish backpacker suffers a severe toe injury while playing soccer, leaving the team rattled when his bone protrudes through his foot. Despite soaring temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius, the water remains the favored spot. However, not everyone is swimming safely.
