However, their happiness may be fleeting as Rob's return to Pontyberry due to his business affairs disrupts their lives. At the same time, Sunil starts medical school and quickly embraces the wild lifestyle of a partying student. Meanwhile, Dai takes up a job at the funeral home alongside his wife, Paula, which leads to a host of challenges for their relationship.
