Episode Overview

Ed Tobias is discovered dead after revealing his corrupt colleagues who were selling drugs instead of turning them in. Lt. Brooks enlists Matlock to defend Johnny Bauer, the sole member of the unit who wasn’t involved in the scheme. While tossing a ball with Conrad, Matlock reluctantly accepts the case, despite his growing suspicion that Bauer is just as culpable as the others for remaining silent about their illegal activities.
