Episode Overview

Stan Rawlings and his friend Dave, who is married, visit the Island with the intention of meeting women. Stan approaches Roarke for assistance in understanding the complexities of women. As a result, he is magically transformed into a woman named "Brenda," with Ariel offering helpful advice. Meanwhile, Mary Wilcox, a descendant of male soldiers, arrives on the Island with a dream of becoming a soldier herself. Roarke transports her to an alternate reality where World War II is fought by women. When faced with the decision to fight or aid a wounded comrade, Mary chooses to help the injured soldier instead.
