Episode Overview

Before every competition, Guy Fieri gives a budget wheel a spin to decide how much money the chefs can use for their grocery shopping for a particular dish. Following that, he spins another wheel that adds extra challenges, such as a unique ingredient they have to incorporate, a specific food color to include, or a limit on the number of aisles they can explore. The chef who effectively maximizes their budget and showcases their culinary talent earns the chance to shop in Flavortown for up to $20,000.
