Episode Overview

We explore the empty city-owned lot across from us with Stephanie Bothwell, the senior landscape architect for Boston. The area is being enhanced with tree and shrub plantings, thanks to the neighborhood's support for the improvement project. Later, Stephanie and Tom Wirth meet with horticulturist Gary Kohler at the Arnold Arboretum to select appropriate trees for urban landscaping. Back at the house, Glenn Berger shows us the kitchens while our master carpenter works on cabinet installation in Hazel's unit. To wrap up, we head to the Chicago Home Center Show, the biggest event of its kind.
