During a trip to the Milestone Cranberry Bog for the October harvest, viewers catch up with Bruce Killen, who shares that the project won't be fully completed by the final taping. Inside, tiler David Goodman demonstrates how he creates a decorative tile molding for the powder room using a water-cooled diamond band saw. Meanwhile, Chuck Davis is restoring the upstairs' old pine floors and installing a new floating floor system throughout the house. Richard Trethewey and heat-pump specialist Carl Orio activate the new system and inspect the air-to-air heat exchanger in the attic, which is necessary due to the home's tight envelope. Our host then joins cabinet designer Gina MacVicar as she reviews the designs for the kitchen, family room, and master suite. Outside, landscaper Mike Flanagan plants hydrangeas and day lilies around the crushed stone parking area, while fence installer Ron Dugas showcases his work.
