The single-lever kitchen faucet stands out as a staple in American plumbing. This Old House plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey takes a tour of the cutting-edge factory where this reliable fixture is produced. Meanwhile, at the Charlestown townhouse, the landscaping work continues as Roger Cook receives a shipment of new plants. Inside, it’s a significant day for the kitchens, with both sets of cabinets for the rental unit and the Beliveau home arriving on-site. Steve arrives to see Roger and the team unloading plants from the nursery truck. Roger collaborates with landscape architect David Hawk on the layout and planting of the new greenery. Inside, Dan is applying a thinned joint compound to the front stairs wall in preparation for the paint crew. In the owner's kitchen, master carpenter checks in on Eric Rikeman as he installs the new cabinets and discusses their features. Steve later finds Richard in the master bath, filling the soaking tub.
