Kevin checks in on Roger and his team as they complete the bluestone terrace and retaining wall, sheltered under a heated tent. Generator expert John Barros demonstrates the new standby generator that can restore power to the house in under 30 seconds during outages. Meanwhile, in the barn, Tom shows Norm the newly parged chimney and his efforts to replicate the old barn loft's appearance on the new barn ceilings. Kevin visits a leading antique lighting restoration specialist in New England to assess the restoration of a vintage barn fixture. In the master bath, Norm observes tile contractor Joe Ferrante arranging the freshly delivered handmade tiles. On the barn's third floor, Kevin finds Richard installing the air handler, which will cool the living hall and provide heating and cooling for the guest suite via a hydro-air unit.
