To access the attic workspace, HVAC contractor Michael Scher starts by draining the refrigerant from the outdated A/C unit. Meanwhile, Kevin tracks the journey of construction waste from the job site to a recycling facility and ultimately to a landfill, where materials like dimensional lumber and wallboard are transformed into mulch and organic compost.
