Beginning his day at Tom's Restaurant, host Kevin O'Connor joins homeowners Kevin Costello and Karen Shen as they assess the freshly painted exterior of their Brooklyn project house. Inside, general contractor Tom Silva collaborates with builder Michael Streaman, who is expertly laying down new 5/16" white oak flooring in the parlor, accented by two cherry strips. Over in Red Hook, plaster contractor Stuart Sobczynski demonstrates his technique for recreating the home's intricate plaster crown mouldings, which are later installed. In the backyard, landscape designer Bob Reitmeyer showcases the new retaining wall and herringbone-patterned brick patio. Meanwhile, millwork contractor Mitch Berlin is busy replacing the rear windows on the garden level.
