To combat the chill, a new warm roof is put in place. However, the fresh framing brings unforeseen plumbing hurdles. While inspecting, they uncover rot in the original sill. The team deliberates on how to illuminate the new ell, taking into account the existing exposed wood. A moisture barrier is also created for the roof valley to ensure it remains watertight.
