Tales from the Darkside (1984)

Episode Overview

A young teen, fascinated by magicians, ventures to a rundown circus in search of the legendary Kharma. To his disappointment, Kharma now performs only simple tricks for the audience, far from the grand illusions the boy idolizes. After some teasing from the teenager, Kharma reluctantly agrees to showcase his ultimate levitation trick, using the boy as his assistant. Tragically, during the performance, Kharma suffers a heart attack, leaving the boy inexplicably floating in the air—rising higher and higher until he disappears from view.
