Episode Overview

A renowned director is taken aback when a mysterious investor approaches him with a unique proposal: to complete a series reminiscent of "The Fugitive," which was abruptly canceled two decades ago. The enigmatic "Mr. Smith" insists that the original cast be reunited to wrap up the plot for his "foreign viewers." The lead actor, Van Conway, struggles with alcoholism, but Mr. Smith somehow manages to help him regain his sobriety. As they conclude the series, audiences discover that the amnesiac protagonist was being pursued by his envious brother. Satisfied, Mr. Smith departs, leaving Conway to ponder a wild theory: that Smith hails from a planet twenty light-years away, where aliens obsessed with the show sent him to ensure they could witness its ending.
