Theo is eager to catch the attention of a girl and decides he needs a high-end shirt from designer Gordon Gartrelle to do so. When his parents, Cliff and Clair, refuse to buy it for him, Denise steps in with a creative solution: she’ll craft a replica of the shirt herself. The episode features a guest appearance by Kadeem Hardison, who would later become known for his role as Dwayne Wayne on the spinoff series, A Different World.
