Peter faces his fear of the dentist by bringing Rudy along for encouragement. He hopes that having his friend by his side will help him feel more at ease during the visit. The role of Dr. Burns, who happens to be Cliff's dentist as well, is played by Danny Kaye in one of his final performances.
