Rutherford secures the Mother of the Bride band for a corporate event with a major new client, Crate & Crockery Kids. The catch? Eddie is employed there, and his strict boss, Hank (guest star Kurtwood Smith), is unaware that his ambitious vice president has a passion for rocking out on weekends. Tensions rise further when Hank enlists Eddie to organize the event alongside his wife (guest star Wendy McLendon-Covey). Things take a turn for the worse when Eddie’s office competitor, Cooper (guest star Ryan Hansen), uncovers Eddie's hidden musical life.
