Niles grows increasingly disillusioned with his life as a butler, leading to peculiar behavior. While tidying up, he accidentally drops a list of items that raises Fran's suspicions, making her think he might be a murderer. Her concerns deepen when a search of his room seems to validate her fears. On a stormy night, with Maxwell out for dinner with the kids, Fran finds herself alone with Niles.
