Episode Overview
After a lengthy five-year wait, Fran's wedding day finally arrives. She spends her final night of singlehood at her mother's house, where Sylvia shares a heartfelt letter she penned for Fran's birth, leading to an emotional moment between them. Just before the ceremony, Maxwell's sister Jocelyn warns Fran that their differing social backgrounds will lead to marriage troubles, mirroring her own experience. During the ceremony, Ms. Babcock attempts to disrupt by posing as the bride, but her plan fails. When Fran doesn't appear at the altar, concern mounts. Sylvia finds Fran in her dressing room, tearfully expressing doubts about their future. However, Maxwell reassures her that their love can overcome any obstacles. With renewed confidence, the wedding continues, and Fran walks down the aisle.
