A devout 24-year-old conservative from a red state, who holds strong homophobic beliefs, moves to San Francisco's Castro District, famously recognized as one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly places in the country. As he joins a gay sports team, works in a job serving a predominantly gay clientele, participates in inclusive church services, and shares a home with a gay roommate, he gains a firsthand perspective on the challenges faced by a marginalized community often met with hostility from many in America. Over the course of 30 days, this former youth minister and military member confronts significant challenges to his Bible-based values as these pressing issues become deeply personal.
