Fragrance of the First Flower (2021)

Overview

Yi-Ming navigates life alone with her son while her husband works away. A chance reunion with her high school friend Ting-Ting at a wedding reignites old feelings and helps Yi-Ming break free from her stifling marriage. As same-sex marriage gains legal status in Taiwan, Yi-Ming faces a pivotal choice: embrace her true self and pursue a relationship with Ting-Ting or remain in the confines of her current life. With newfound courage, she must decide if she's ready to embrace love and change her destiny.
