Bernie is fed up with the constraints of his family-friendly home, feeling stifled by the need to sacrifice his hobbies for the kids’ safety. When the studio gifts him a motorcycle, Wanda urges him to donate it due to safety concerns, but he insists on keeping it. His joyride ends abruptly when he crashes and briefly enters a vision of life without him at the Mac house. Upon waking, he acknowledges Wanda's concerns and rushes to child-proof the entire home, becoming overly cautious. Meanwhile, Jordan faces trouble for attempting to sell Bernie's adult magazines to his classmates, prompting another meeting with Father Cronin for Bernie and Wanda.
