Sam finds himself without a date for the upcoming dance. Meanwhile, Tony shows up with a boy from the supermarket's produce section. However, Jesse's passionate advocacy for bird conservation causes Sam to lose the date he had been hoping for, as he inadvertently pushes the newcomer away.
