Bear excitedly picks up a cool detective kit at Mr. Mole's store, leaving Franklin feeling let down when he discovers they're all gone. Bear suggests he could buy a "Super Snooper Spy Kit," but he needs to act fast before it's out of stock. Franklin checks his piggy bank, only to realize he doesn't have enough cash. Determined to earn the money, he proposes a deal to his dad for an extra chore. He starts by washing the dishes but struggles to fulfill his side of the agreement after accepting another task.
