Shiemi, excited about forming new connections, approaches her classmate Izumo Kamiki with a request for friendship. Although Izumo feigns acceptance, Rin quickly sees that she’s merely exploiting Shiemi’s goodwill. Later, the students gather at the old dormitory for the Exwire exam, where a sudden demon assault catches Izumo and her friend Paku off guard. Rin and Shiemi must step in to defend them from the attack.
