Takara calls upon Izumo's familiar, Fox God Mike, to delve into the history of the Kamiki family and the Inari Taisha Shrine. Tamamo, Izumo and Tsukumo's mother, is the head of a lineage of shrine maidens, tasked with managing the powerful fox demon, Nine Tails. Despite Izumo's impressive divine abilities as a shrine maiden, she feels isolated in her personal life, surrounded only by her lively mother and younger sister. This fragile existence is shattered when the Inari Light Foundation starts to take action.
