After the laboratory container is destroyed, Rin and the team manage to regroup, but Michael Gedoin unleashes a grotesque Zombie to confront them. He reveals that the Far East Laboratory is at the heart of the Elixir of Immortality experiments, unveiling the grim reality behind Peace Town Inari and igniting everyone's anger. Just then, Izumo shows up, being forced toward a surgical transplant of Nine Tails. In response, Rin draws his Koma Sword to rescue her. He angrily punches Shima, sending him sprawling for trying to stop him from reaching Izumo. Rin reaches out to help her, but...
