Episode Overview

Using Yukio's sharp intellect, Rin and his friends manage to trick Hachiro into breaking his agreement with Shura. However, Hachiro, consumed by fury, regains control and seizes Shura again, making his way to the frozen lake. In a moment of desperation, the immortal Hachiro reveals his desire to end his life, prompting Shura to promise that they will rest together at the lake's depths. As they descend into the water, memories of her past with Shiro flood Shura’s mind, overwhelming her with emotion.
