At a club night out with Spencer, Mona encounters the charming Miles, and they instantly connect. However, their chemistry falters due to their differing interests: she loves Dawson's Creek, while he favors BET. After a clumsy night of dancing where Mona's moves fall short, Miles ends their connection, claiming she isn't "black enough." Determined to reclaim his affection, Mona undergoes a transformation inspired by Dee Dee, aiming to become what she describes as "a Nubian disco queen."
