Episode Overview
Kai instructs Mona to exercise her authority as vice president by letting Adam go. Although she hesitates because of their friendship, she ultimately recognizes that Adam isn’t the best receptionist and delivers the bad news. Adam reacts with anger, ignoring her calls. Later, Mona discovers that Kai didn’t truly want her to fire Adam; he had mistaken him for someone else. Determined to make things right, she tracks Adam down at the mall, where he’s now giving out sausage samples, and tries to persuade him to set aside his pride and come back. Simultaneously, Big Dee Dee hires a strikingly handsome male nanny for Drew but soon realizes she must dismiss him since both she and Dee Dee can’t stop fantasizing about him.
