Episode Overview

Phyllis enlists the help of Mona, Spencer, and Adam for a Mother’s Day telethon. Meanwhile, Big Dee Dee and Dee Dee also join the cause. During a pre-telethon meeting, Phyllis becomes increasingly exasperated with Big Dee Dee’s constant interruptions, leading her to accidentally reveal that Big Dee Dee was expecting before her marriage. Dee Dee is taken aback and hurt by this revelation, feeling betrayed by her mother’s secrecy. Meanwhile, Mona decides to give Phyllis the cold shoulder, upset by her lack of discretion and tendency to speak without thinking.
