Attias's family grows increasingly concerned as he spends time with Fitous and Bouli. His wife and wealthy father-in-law are aware of his tendency for reckless behavior, driven by a passion for gambling and a desire to provoke. Simon, meanwhile, is acutely aware that a looming carbon financial crisis is imminent, but he is uncertain about its location. Additionally, he is troubled by the whereabouts of his daughter Émilie, who has hit the road with her boyfriend, a drug addict, further complicating the situation.
