Granny is eager to host a coming out party for Elly, boasting to Society Sandy that it will be the highlight of the social calendar. Meanwhile, Mrs. Drysdale is determined to sabotage the event. Mr. Drysdale worries that if the Clampetts are mocked, they might decide to return to the hills. Just when it seems all is lost, Miss Jane steps in with a brilliant idea, suggesting it be a "Fancy Dress" coming out party. In the end, the celebration turns out to be a huge success.
