Episode Overview

Title: The Military Dilemma Plot: Jethro is eager to join the Army, so Granny conducts a physical examination for him. However, Jethro shows up limping and struggling to hear. Colonel Stark finds this intriguing. The psychiatrist, however, shares his opinion with the Colonel, claiming Jethro is the most skilled draft dodger he's encountered. Curious, the Colonel expresses a desire to meet the Clampetts. When they visit, the psychiatrist suspects their eccentricities are merely a performance and persuades the Colonel against Jethro's induction.
