Episode Overview

In her quest to find the missing Malone, Marguerite narrowly escapes a cannibal attack, rescued by a charming group of outlaws. Their charismatic leader, Francois Locke, offers her a place among his thieves. Despite initially turning him down, she soon realizes that Locke holds the key to her escape from the Plateau. Meanwhile, Challenger, Roxton, and Veronica are on the hunt for Marguerite and stumble upon unsettling clues suggesting the bandits are not entirely human. Their situation worsens when they receive a ransom note demanding Marguerite's jewels for her freedom. Upon delivering the ransom, they are astounded to find Marguerite seemingly embracing her new life with Locke's band.
