The Excalibur arrives at Babylon 5, where Gideon seeks an audience with an ambassador to secure permission for a mission to a planet that could hold valuable technology for Earth. However, the ambassador denies his request, and Gideon is determined to challenge that decision. Meanwhile, Ellerson unexpectedly encounters his ex-wife, who is in a dire situation with a loan shark. After he steps in to settle her debt, he believes she owes him more than just gratitude and takes drastic measures to ensure he gets what he feels is rightfully his.
