Just days ahead of the Raccoon of the Year announcement, the Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler informs Ralph that he will be on the dais that evening and should be ready to deliver a few remarks. Ralph, interpreting this as a sign that he’s been chosen as Raccoon of the Year, eagerly starts crafting his "humble" acceptance speech.
