Pugsley returns home smitten with his teacher and impulsively sends her a love letter that Gomez had originally penned for Morticia. When the teacher visits the Addams residence to discuss the letter, she mistakenly thinks it’s from Gomez, and soon finds herself charmed by him. Meanwhile, Mama and Morticia insist that a hesitant Gomez should pursue her, believing she'll be quick to flee if he does.
