Max finds herself in heat yet again, struggling with her overwhelming desires, even for Normal, which fills her with shame. In an effort to cope, she’s deliberately steering clear of Logan and decides to call off their anniversary dinner. Once the day wraps up, she musters the courage to talk to a bewildered Logan about her struggles, leading them both to finally express their true feelings for one another. Just as they lean in for a kiss, Zack barges in with urgent news about Tinga, prompting them to spring into action and save her from a covert government facility.
