Episode Overview

In "Downtown Crossing (2)," Joey finds herself in a terrifying situation when a street mugger forces her to empty her bank account. However, fate intervenes as the mugger is struck by a car moments later. Though shaken, Joey shows compassion by checking on him and calling for medical help, recognizing a resemblance to her own father. When the authorities arrive, she faints and is taken to the hospital. During her recovery, she unexpectedly encounters the mugger's estranged wife and daughter. As she stands by the dying man, Joey grapples with her father's memory and ultimately chooses to protect the young girl’s feelings by saying her father died a hero.
