As they prepare to leave, Sai receives a mysterious envelope from a Root shinobi with secret directives from Danzo, prompting Sakura to seek advice from Tsunade. Meanwhile, Jiraiya visits Tsunade and Yamato in Kakashi's hospital room to inform Yamato about the demon fox sealed within Naruto, discussing the "demon fox's cloak" and showing off a scar he received from Naruto during the emergence of the fourth tail. With everything in place, the new Team Kakashi embarks on their mission to track down an Akatsuki spy and uncover details about Sasuke.
