Episode Overview

Orochimaru and Kabuto persuade Sasuke to leave with them, leaving Naruto heartbroken over his inability to bring Sasuke back to the village. However, Sakura comforts him, assuring him that they will rescue Sasuke together. The team reports to Tsunade about the mission's outcome, and she expresses her fury over Danzo's manipulation, especially his breach of classified information for his own gain. Meanwhile, Sai requests Danzo's permission to stay with Team Kakashi, which Danzo grants reluctantly. Sai embarks on a mission with his team, having begun to view them as friends.
