Kaguya is enraged by Hagoromo's violation of the rules. In turn, Hagoromo learns about Kaguya's past and decides he must confront her. Lacking insight into her true nature, he struggles to trust her, questioning whether her anger stems solely from the love and sorrow she has endured. With no common ground to stand on, the mother and her sons embark on a prolonged and heartbreaking conflict.
