While Kakashi and the team fight against the Akatsuki pair, Kakuzu shocks them by disclosing that he possesses five hearts. To defeat him, they must eliminate all of them. At the same time, Shikamaru opts to confront Hidan on his own, successfully drawing him away from his companion.
