Episode Overview
Now that they have become genin, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru are placed in a team under the future Third Hokage. As he observes Sarutobi's space/time ninjutsu, Jiraiya becomes fascinated and eager to master it. During one of his explorations, he accidentally wanders off and discovers Myouboku Mountain. There, he encounters the Great Toad Sage, who had foreseen his coming. This marks the beginning of Jiraiya's journey to becoming the legendary Toad Sage!
