Episode Overview

After their unsuccessful attempt to retrieve Sasuke, the Leaf ninjas begin their journey back to the Hidden Leaf Village. However, Tsunade dispatches Katsuyu to alert them that the barrier around Mount Katsunagi, associated with the Tsuchigumo Clan and containing a dangerous forbidden jutsu, has been breached. While Kakashi and Team 8 make their way home, Team 7, under Yamato's leadership, is tasked with investigating the unfolding situation.
